On February 28th, the World Design Capital San Diego Tijuana 2024 will hold an unforgettable Community Celebration at CECUT in the city of Tijuana, Mexico.
We are inviting our community to celebrate and learn more about the concept of World Design Capital, by unveiling the exciting events lined up for the year , setting the stage for an incredible day ahead. The program will then continue with the launch of the World Design Spotlight videos featuring stories from Taylor Guitars, CBX and CECUT. Our community will be immersed in an unforgettable experience that includes vibrant musical and artistic performances from our region.
Join us to hear remarks from esteemed regional leaders and the company of the Mayor of Tijuana, Montserrat Caballero, the Director of the Tijuana Cultural Center, Vianka Santana Ph.D., the distinguished President of the World Design Organization, Thomas Gavey, our esteemed WDC 2024 organizing partners, and the WDC 2024 team, as we kick off the World Design Capital designation and program.
