KPBS Port of Entry Podcast: WDC 2024: Design comes to Town(s)!
The episode showcases WDC in the San Diego Tijuana region and notes events are coming throughout the year. The episode interviewed Diana Cervera noting the community celebration and kick-off event, she talks about being a transborder artist and her role in WDC connecting community initiatives. They also included a snippet of Thomas Garvey’s speech from the event and connected with Katalina Silva and Jorge Francisco Sánchez to discuss how San Diego Tijuana WDC came about. They discussed some design focuses and interviewed Don Norman to discuss humanity-centered design.
