A hands-on hybrid workshop experience, co-hosted by Mesa College’s Museum Studies program, resulting in an exhibition (opening June 6th at Mesa College Art Gallery) & a weekend-long “Happening” (at Space 4 Art’s Market Street lot September 20-22) which will showcase Space 4 Art community members past, present, and future. Not only will the workshop engage students in the co-curation of these experiences – building skills for a future in the arts be they aspiring artists, administrators, or curators – but we will also work to identify the needs of this next generation of arts leaders in order to inform the design and programming plans of our future Arts Center. The event is open to students of all ages but geared towards students of high school age and above. The event will be offered as a hybrid experience to support binational participation, and lunch will be served to those attending in person.
