About WDC

World Design Capital San Diego Tijuana 2024 is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for meaningful, regional transformation. Through a year-long series of public events, conferences, policy summits, exhibitions, and workshops, the program will bring together civic leaders, activists, artists, multidisciplinary designers and residents to address our region’s most pressing challenges through design.

The WDC 2024 organization represents the collective leadership of organizing partners City of San Diego, UC San Diego Design Lab, Burnham Center for Community Advancement, Design Forward Alliance, and City of Tijuana, as well as numerous community supporters.
