This interactive exhibit is an interactive art exhibit that engages visitors in active conversations around self-portrait poetry and photography, mass incarceration, gender-based violence, poverty, addiction, and mental illness.
The workshop offers guests an opportunity to use visual thinking strategies, to direct and/or create their own portrait, and to engage each other in conversations connected to the visual nature of our current society, and the overwhelming power of social media and other outlets, for advocacy efforts in a visual context around some pressing systemic and social justice issues.
