The Tijuana Access initiative is a collaboration between an emerging leadership collective
focused on disability and design applied to products, spaces, and services. This
collaborative proposal, rooted in Architecture, aims to promote understanding and
application of accessibility through the development of Accessibility Criteria outlined in a
guide called “PIDO ACCESS” (Support Points, Information, Mobility, Orientation).
Dynamics:
P.I.D.O. centers on social interaction and the integration of key concepts that, when
combined, create a pathway to understanding the urgency of creating spaces, products,
and services with an inclusive perspective.
