Converging Horizons embodies a transformative vision for architectural education and practice in the San Diego-Tijuana border region. As part of a two-day symposium, the October 25th event at the Museum of Photographic Arts (MOPA) in San Diego will explore architectural education within this unique context. The program includes guided tours for students of the Norman Foster exhibition, discussions on cross-border practices, and panels addressing border ecologies and transborder architectural ecosystems. With leading voices from both sides of the border, the event seeks to foster dialogue, collaboration, and a reimagining of architectural education in the borderlands.
