Voices on the Inside, the WDC-supported multimodal exhibition from Poetic Justice, will be the featured installation at SDSU’s Digital Humanities Library for the duration of the Fall 2024 semester. Free and open to the public, Voices on the Inside invites the San Diego-Tijuana community to engage in an interactive experience of the art and humanity of people incarcerated in women’s jails and prisons on both sides of the border. In addition, Poetic Justice will be hosting community workshops inside the Digital Humanities Library for the International Visual Literacy Association’s 2024 conference (October 8-10), and in collaboration with Project Rebound the the Criminal Justice Department at SDSU.
