Arts & Culture

Led by Maestro Hernan Constantino. The Mainly Mozart Youth Orchestra will be joined by members of Tijuana’s Promotora de las Bellas Artes Children’s Choir, the San Diego Children’s Choir, and the SDSU Chamber Choir, as well as musicians and singers from the Baja California and Los Angeles regions performing works highlighting the importance of the shared Cali-Baja coast.

To include the world premier of a newly commissioned work by Mexico City’s Jorge Cozatl. Cozatl’s piece is inspired by research provided by the Walter Munk Foundation. Doors open at 4pm.

This program seeks to bring together children and teenagers from both sides of the border by offering a creative/artistic program with binational activities, focused on environmental, coastal and cross-border perspectives. By using music and education as vehicles to raise environmental awareness in young communities, we will strengthen friendship and cooperation between Tijuana and San Diego.
