Led by nonprofit organization, Via International, Somos La Voz is a free art education program for Chicano and Mexican-American identifying youth. Through a grant from Far South/Border North, Via International is teaming up with Aztlan Libre to offer art and activism classes led by Chicano and Mexican-American teaching artists. Join us for the first pop-up event featuring participating youth, who will perform live in the Kiosk at Chicano Park. Following the performance, there will be a fandango – bring your instruments and dancing shoes to participate in this improvisational, folkloric community jam session!
