This annual Re:Border binational conference brings together academics, public policy experts, professors, public officials, industry leaders, artists and community members from both sides of the US-Mexico border to explore complex binational issues ranging from our shared environment and economies to cross-border health and education, with the aim of discovering public-private solutions that benefit the Cali-Baja region. The Designing Oportunidades theme was inspired by our San Diego-Tijuana region’s designation as the 2024 World Design Capital. The event is hosted by San Diego State University and Universidad Autónoma de Baja California in collaboration with other U.S. and Mexican partners.
