About

Impact Project

The Reimagining Our Region – Charrette is a collaborative workshop by TAAE/ATTEA and the WDC 2024 Planning and Placemaking Design to Action Network to promote student involvement and design thinking. This effort seeks to reflect on how our impact projects can tackle some of our region’s most pressing issues while promoting sustainable urban development. Ultimately, this is one of four workshops the PP DAN will hold throughout 2024 that seek to understand the border as an ecosystem and work at better ways to further binational policy design. Highlighted impact projects are: Temporary Paradise?, Bay to Park Paseo, Friendship Park, Museo del Muro, Rescate Agua Caliente, Ciclovía Tijuana, Binational Transit Connection, Imaginando el Futuro, Binational Pedestrian loop, among others.
