Beyond the Border is a Plein air exhibition, juried by Mr. Jean Stern, the preeminent authority on California Plein air history. The call to artists on both sides of the border is a collaborative effort between the California Art Club San Diego Chapter, the Salmagundi San Diego Chapter, San Diego Watercolor Society, Desert Plein Air Association, San Diego Urban Sketchers, Oceanside Museum of Art, San Diego Plein Air Painters Meet Up Group, Temecula Art Guilt, Fallbrook Art Guilt, Coronado and the Bonita Museum and Cultural Center.
