ICA San Diego is excited to host the first United States solo exhibition of local artist and UCSD professor Dr. Pinar Yoldas. Drawing on her background in neuroscience and architecture, Yoldas presents her latest projects, including a photobioreactor system that transforms algae into a biodegradable plastic alternative and the debut of her video piece CATGPT that considers the relationship between AI and human creativity. Through an immersive experience, ICA San Diego invites visitors to imagine a techno-feminist future and examine how desire and emotion drive our cultural obsession with technology.
All ICA San Diego exhibitions are free for everyone.
