In her first San Diego exhibition, Nathalie Miebach will present new work based on the recent spate of extreme weather in California. Combining basket-weaving techniques into sculptures, wall installations, and 2D weavings, Miebach has devised her own visual languages that invites viewers to consider data through a comprehensive, regional, and personal interaction with the effects of climate change. In collaboration with local musicians and composers, Miebach will create a score based on her sculpture that will be performed at ICA San Diego / Central on September 21.All ICA San Diego exhibitions are free for everyone.
