Art meets activism at Lens of Liberation—a youth-led initiative with the support of teaching artists Ale Uzarraga, Lorain Khalil Rihan, Magdalena Ramirez, and Outside the Lens. Join us at the Soap Factory on Sunday September 22, 2024 from 1:00 – 4:00 pm. This event showcases through-provoking artworks created by young Mexican American and Chicanx youth exploring the social, historical, and cultural forces that have shaped their communities. Join us in celebrating the voices of young artists who share their unique perspectives, concerns, and hopes for the future. This is more than an exhibition—it’s an interactive opportunity to expand understanding, foster empathy, and inspire collective action through hands-on activities and community dialogue.
