La Jolla Historical Society presents a diverse a week-long celebration of La Jolla’s architectural legacy through the 2024 La Jolla Modernism and Architecture Week. Highlights of the 2023 tour included multiple homes designed by master architect Frederick Liebhardt as well as access to Kendrick Bangs Kellogg’s iconic Yen Residence. This new annual event, which supports the Historical Society’s education and exhibition programs, features a new architect or aspect of modernism each year and returns in October 2024. Beyond the Modernism Home Tour, attendees will enjoy panel discussions, guided tours of select sites, historic designation workshops, and more.
