“Instituto Municipal de Participación Ciudadana” (IMPAC), in collaboration with the DIF Tijuana System of the 24th Tijuana City Council and the Emerging Leaders with Disabilities community, has launched a program aimed at fostering discussions and sharing insights on the importance and advantages of accessibility. This partnership has successfully produced the first guide that establishes standards for making products, spaces, and services universally accessible. This guide was developed with the active involvement and teamwork of key players in design, including academia, civic groups, and government, with the goal of improving the way public spaces are organized and managed.
