Far South / Border North is a City of San Diego-led regional collaborative that supports artists and cultural practitioners working in service of the health and well-being of communities. The job creative program offers an essential platform for guiding public messaging campaigns to cultivate awareness, social cohesion, and connectivity, particularly in the region’s most impacted communities, contributing to health equity and providing an opportunity for humanity-centered design and prototyping for long-term regional impacts. Artists, cultural practitioners, and organizations are designing and implementing campaigns across various artistic and creative forms to engage people and bring awareness to urgent issues shaping our region today – including public health, civic engagement, climate mitigation, and social justice. Save the date for Public Impact Day, September 19, 2024. Visit farsouthbordernorth.com. The program is supported, in part, by a California Creative Corps grant provided by the California Arts Council, a state agency, and The Conrad Prebys Foundation.
