As part of the activities for Environment Day on June 9 from 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm, the CZ Green association will organize events where art, design, and ecology will take over the space in the newly restored Río Bravo Alley, which was selected by the World Design Capital program. This alley is located on Agua Caliente Boulevard in the Revolución neighborhood and entry is free.
The event will feature the unveiling of a mural dedicated to professional boxer Jackie Nava, an international exhibition titled “Nuevo Coyote” from England, art activist Rocío, Laura Hoffmann from Playas de Rosarito, and muralist Peok Mancilla from Mexico City, who will contribute with two murals that raise environmental awareness. There will also be an urban artistic intervention by Trubaik from Monterrey and participation from eight civil associations: Wild Coast, Global Shapers, Materia Verde, Fundación Lele, Proyecto Tlali, Cultiva Ya!, and Ecourbe, which will showcase improvement projects for social transformation. Entrepreneurial participation will include Radiante and Sara Jáuregui, offering products available to visitors.
On stage, there will be performances by the Tijuana Opera, Peok Mancilla, and a bachata workshop by world champions “Mens Bachata Mov.
