Participants will experience an immersive exhibit that recalls the history and heritage of the Italian, Mexican, African American, and other immigrant communities who established what we now know as Little Italy. The exhibit will explore the decline and revitalization of the neighborhood and invite participants to imagine an inclusive and flourishing future for visitors, business owners, and residents.
A visual installation will be complemented by an audio-guided daydreaming experience, accessible via QR code, to capture and build upon the collective imagination. This input will be documented by Yonder, Cloud Club’s AI creative companion.
Additionally, members of the Cloud Club Collective will perform the audio guide’s soundtrack live, including a guided daydreaming session, with participation from a children’s choir and a sing-along for attendees. This performance aims to extend the vision of a flourishing future into the home communities of participants.
