Self-guided tours of the Bay to Park Paseo are free and available any day between May 4th and November 30th. Starting at the Hilton San Diego Bayfront, 1 Park Blvd. San Diego, CA 92101 to Presidents Way and Park Blvd. at the east entrance to Balboa Park. The 1.7 mile walk can be completed in either direction.
The 1.7 mile walking experience along Park Boulevard (in downtown San Diego) connects the San Diego Bay to Balboa Park. It’s an anthology of design and art experiences from 13 multi-disciplinary design teams including architects, artists, planners and storytellers. This WDC 2024 Impact Project uses tactical urbanism, placemaking, and design thinking to enhance the public realm and fulfills a long-held dream of connecting two of San Diego’s crown jewels, the Bay and Balboa Park.
