About

Pavilion

The World Design Capital initiative promotes the exploration of using art as a medium for civic engagement and change. However, throughout this experience there has been something lacking in regards to the inclusion of artists of color. Join artists Melinda Barnadas, Khalil Bleux, Thao French, and Yvette Roman with Barry Pollard as they share and uplift these voices, projects, and experiences to explore and create a template for what true belonging can look like in communities of color. Presented by RISE Arts and moderated by musician, practice consultant, and creator Kendrick Dial.
