Master Architect Frank W. Stevenson designed buildings in San Diego, Tijuana, and Ensenada during the period 1920-40 that are architecturally significant. Architectural historians will lead a full-day tour departing from Chicano Park in San Diego, highlighting Stevenson ‘s work in Tijuana and Ensenada. Similar landmarks not designed by Stevenson will be visited. This event will be part of the Latinos in Heritage Conservation conference to be held in San Diego. Included is a lunch at former Mexican President Abelardo L. Rodríguez’s mansion in Ensenada and a brief stop in Valle de Guadalupe.
