Climate & Sustainability

In our ongoing commitment to fostering networking and harnessing the power of design to drive innovation and create a desirable future, we are excited to invite you to our 3rd Field Trip in San Diego.

This official tour offers a unique opportunity to visit key facilities dedicated to water conservation and sustainability. Our primary legacy lies in the connections we catalyze through our work and the visionary projects we help implement for the betterment of our region, community, species, and future generations.

Embark on an immersive journey to Tijuana with the Climate & Sustainability DAN Field Trip on April 25th. Departing from Plaza Las Américas, the trip promises a vibrant exploration of impactful projects and networking opportunities. Traverse through Tijuana’s cultural and environmental landmarks, including CECUT, Las Abejas Park, Rodriguez DAM, and Esperanto Park. Engage with local officials and experts, gaining insights into Tijuana’s initiatives for change. Delve deeper at Cetys University, with a presentation on the Tijuana River Initiative and Confluence of Change projects. Don’t miss this enriching experience, fostering connections and understanding across borders.

The itinerary includes visits to:

  • The Estuary
  • The Waterfront
  • UCSD Design Lab

Additionally, you will have the chance to witness presentations from some of the projects currently being accelerated through World Design Capital and Climate and Sustainability Design-to-Action Network, showcasing their progress and impact.
