The World Design Capital Convocation Ceremony marks the successes of WDC 2024, showcases the year’s highlights, recognizes those who contributed to the year’s success, reflects on the World Design Capital legacy and officially hands over the World Design Capital title to the incoming city or region.
This event is a celebration that includes city officials, World Design Capital leadership, the design community, media and the designated WDC 2026 political leadership and planning team.
